Basketball Game Preview: Fargo South Bruins vs. Grand Forks Central Knights

The Fargo South Bruins will square off against the Grand Forks Central Knights at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Fargo South came up short against Fargo Davies on Tuesday, falling 74-48. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Eagles are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Grand Forks Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They skirted past the Packers 66-63.

Grand Forks Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Fargo South, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
