Football Recap: Pierre T.F. Riggs Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with O'gorman

Pierre T.F. Riggs faced O'Gorman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Governors fell 27-23 to the Knights. The Governors lost against the Knights in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 42-14 score last time.

This is the second loss in a row for Pierre T.F. Riggs and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for O'Gorman, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pierre T.F. Riggs will welcome Sturgis Brown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for O'Gorman, they will square off against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
