Baseball Game Preview: Seminole Seminoles vs. Horizon Hawks

The Seminole Seminoles will take on the Horizon Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Seminole easily dispatched Tampa Prep on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Seminole fell just short of Winter Springs by a score of 9-7 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Noah Johnson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Mat Stubbs was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hawks on Tuesday. Horizon fell 6-3 to Lake Minneola.

Seminole's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Horizon, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
