Baseball Recap: Salem Greyhounds vs. Valley Springs Tigers
Salem won the last time they faced Valley Springs and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Greyhounds came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 9-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Greyhounds.

Salem got a big performance out of Peyton Franks, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The Greyhounds are undefeated when Franks posts two or more runs, but 6-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Hollis, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Salem was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley Springs only posted a batting average of .286.
Salem's record is now 9-11. As for Valley Springs, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.
