Soccer Game Preview: North Cobb vs. Etowah

The North Cobb Warriors will square off against the Etowah Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Cobb has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 18.

North Cobb fell victim to Denmark and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Denmark. While losing is never fun, North Cobb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 236th, while Denmark are ranked 41st).

Meanwhile, Etowah managed to keep up with Walton until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Etowah came up short against Walton, falling 4-0. The loss continues a trend for Etowah in their meetings with Walton: they've now lost six in a row.

Etowah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for North Cobb, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
