Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Davis County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson Davis County faced off against McLaurin on Thursday. The Jaguars came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Jefferson Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McLaurin, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson Davis County will square off against Mendenhall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLaurin, they will venture away from home to take on Morton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
