Basketball Recap: Regis Groff Gets the Win

Regis Groff's game on Friday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 48-42 W over the Montbello Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fusion.

Despite the loss, Montbello still got an impressive performance from Jeveon West, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 18 boards. West continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Turohn Shinalut, who posted five points and six rebounds.

The victory got Regis Groff back to even at 7-7. As for Montbello, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hinkley the next time they take the court. Montbello will head out to face Hinkley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Regis Groff will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
