Soccer Game Preview: Tri-Valley vs. Weatherly

Tri-Valley has gone a perfect 9-0 against Weatherly recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out to square off against Weatherly at 4:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Monday just wasn't the day for Tri-Valley's offense. They lost 4-0 to Schuylkill Haven on Monday. While losing is never fun, Tri-Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while Schuylkill Haven are ranked 171st).

Meanwhile, Weatherly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Shenandoah Valley.

Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Weatherly, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Tri-Valley took their win against Weatherly in their previous matchup back in September of 2022 by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do Weatherly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
