Vail Christian is a perfect 3-0 against Alameda since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Saints will host the Pirates at 5:30 p.m.

On Friday, Vail Christian came up short against Denver East and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 25-17, 25-13.

Alameda not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 5th. They put the hurt on Rocky Mountain Prep SMART with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Alameda not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Rocky Mountain Prep SMART between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Vail Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Alameda, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Vail Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Alameda in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
