Football Recap: Cherokee Washington Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ridge View last Friday, Cherokee Washington came back down to earth. The Braves were outmatched by the Unity Christian Knights and fell 33-6. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Cherokee Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Unity Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Cherokee Washington will host Central Lyon/George-Little Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Unity Christian, they will challenge Western Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolfpack will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
