Basketball Game Preview: Lowellville Rockets vs. Hubbard Eagles

The Lowellville Rockets will head out to face off against the Hubbard Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lowellville will be strutting in after a victory while Hubbard will be coming in after a loss.

Lowellville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to McKinley for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-31 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-14.

Meanwhile, Hubbard was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 41-35 to Howland. The Eagles have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

With the victory, Lowellville broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6. As for Hubbard, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-6.
