Badger hadn't done well against Westosha Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Badgers came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 6-3. For the Badgers, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2024.

Riley Lussmyer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Trent Ertmann was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Badger has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Westosha Central, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Badger will venture away from home to square off against Harvard at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westosha Central, they will head out to challenge Arrowhead at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
