Baseball Recap: River Takes a Loss

River was the 10-0 winner over Shenandoah when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Pilots fell 10-5 to the Zeps on Monday.

River's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Shenandoah, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River will take on Bridgeport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pilots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Shenandoah, they will face off against Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
