Baseball Recap: Reavis Finds Home Field Redemption Against Bremen

Reavis's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Richards on Thursday. The Rams walked away with a 4-1 win over the Bremen Braves. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won five in a row.

Reavis got a great performance from Jose Rodriguez as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave Rodriguez a new career-high.

At the plate, Reavis' win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Shea Wielgos, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Blake Stefanek was another, earning two runs and two stolen bases.

Reavis' victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Bremen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reavis will host Tinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bremen, they will welcome Kennedy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
