Basketball Game Preview: Pacheco Panthers vs. Central Valley Hawks

Pacheco hasn't had much luck against Central Valley recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pacheco Panthers will head out to challenge the Central Valley Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Pacheco will be strutting in after a win while Central Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Pacheco turned things around against Lathrop on Wednesday. They secured a 50-45 W over the Spartans.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Central Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grace Davis.

Pacheco's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 5-10. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Pacheco came up short against Central Valley when the teams last played on January 8th, falling 44-37. Can Pacheco avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
