Basketball Recap: Dudley Find Success

It's playoff time, and Dudley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 55-50 W over the Freedom Patriots on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

When it comes to explaining why Freedom lost, don't look at Peyton Caldwell. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 31 points and nine boards. Caldwell's big performance that evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jenaya Johnson, who posted five points and six rebounds.

Dudley's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Freedom, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-12.

Dudley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-47 loss against Stuart W. Cramer on the 4th. Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
