The Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves will face off against the Pittsburg Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Blue Valley Southwest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.5 points per game this season.

Blue Valley Southwest's tournament run continued when they took on Spring Hill last Saturday. Blue Valley Southwest took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spring Hill.

Despite the defeat, Blue Valley Southwest had strong showings from Lily Unruh, who went 9 for 21 to rack up 21 points and five steals, and Mia Hansen, who went 7 of 13 en route to 16 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Ready, who posted three points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Pittsburg had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took down the Golden Tornado 43-27.

Blue Valley Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Pittsburg, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Blue Valley Southwest didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Pittsburg in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory. Will Blue Valley Southwest repeat their success, or does Pittsburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
