Volleyball Recap: Wausau West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wausau West lost against Stevens Point back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wausau West started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-17.

Vaughn is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Paige Ives, who had ten assists and seven digs.

Wausau West's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-9. As for Stevens Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
