Fallbrook entered their contest against San Marcos on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors lost 82-61 to the Knights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (59), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Fallbrook lost, don't look at Grace Nordeen. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 45 points and 14 rebounds. Nordeen has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last 46 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emery Pizzo, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Fallbrook suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 11-11. As for San Marcos, they moved to 7-13 with that victory, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fallbrook will square off against San Pasqual at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
