Volleyball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Victorious

The Providence Christian Academy Storm were able to grind out a solid victory over the Jonesboro Cardinals on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Storm.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

Sazy Cantrell paced Providence Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Cantrell got some help from Tyler Clements and her ten assists.

Providence Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Jonesboro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Providence Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Oglethorpe County on the 21st. As for Jonesboro, they will face off against Union Grove on Tuesday.
