Basketball Recap: Carlson Comes Up Short

Carlson has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a 50-16 loss at the hands of the Monroe Trojans. The contest marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Carlson's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Monroe, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season.

Carlson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monroe, they will take on Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bedford will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Monroe surely won't give up without a fight.
