Western Michigan Christian entered their tilt with Shelby on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 9-4. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nathan Clausing was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Quint Menefee also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Western Michigan Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Shelby, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Western Michigan Christian will be playing at home against Covenant Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelby, they will face off against Holton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.14 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
