Marriotts Ridge is a perfect 10-0 against Atholton since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Marriotts Ridge fell victim to Leonardtown and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to the Raiders.

Mt. Hebron hit Atholton with a seven-run third inning last Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-1.

Atholton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Law, who went 2-for-3 with two triples and one run.

Atholton's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Marriotts Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Tuesday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Marriotts Ridge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .437. However, it's not like Atholton struggles in that department as they've averaged .458. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Marriotts Ridge took their win against Atholton when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marriotts Ridge since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
