Basketball Preview: Travelers Rest Devildogs vs. Wren Hurricanes
The Travelers Rest Devildogs will head out on the road to square off against the Wren Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Travelers Rest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Travelers Rest took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 47-38 win over Berea.
Travelers Rest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chloe Stegall led the charge by putting up 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals Stegall has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Mabry Mullis, who earned 17 points and five steals.
