Basketball Game Preview: Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors vs. Banneker Trojans

Southwest Atlanta Christian is 0-3 against Banneker since December of 2017 but things could change on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 2:30 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Southwest Atlanta Christian will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

While Southwest Atlanta Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Cristo Rey Atlanta 91-25. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Banneker suffered their biggest loss since February 7th on Friday. They took a blow against Newnan, falling 70-38. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Trojans' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Southwest Atlanta Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Banneker, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
