Basketball Recap: North Lakes Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rochester Math and Science Academy, North Lakes Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on Lakes International Language Academy with a sharp 63-43 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

North Lakes Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Lakes International Language Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

North Lakes Academy and Maple Lake will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. North Lakes Academy is facing Maple Lake at the right time seeing as Maple Lake is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Lakes International Language Academy, they will head out on the road to take on New Life Academy at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. New Life Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
