San Pasqual had won seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 3-2 to make it eight. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 55-21 win over the Westview Wolverines. The Golden Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Robert Renteria was his usual excellent self, throwing for 413 yards and five TDs while picking up 16.5 yards per attempt. Marcus Rocha was another key player, picking up 153 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

San Pasqual didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Landen Lockwood.

As for Westview, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. They have struggled against San Pasqual recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Although Westview took the loss, they still got scores from Josh Haney, Kyler Brown, and Ryan Marsh.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Pasqual will take on Fallbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westview, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Escondido at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
