Lincoln-Way Central came out on top against Sandburg on Wednesday thanks in part to Jalese Hays's efforts. Hays wasn't messing around, pitching seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with two or fewer walks.
