Duke is 9-1 against Hammon since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Duke Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Hammon Warriors at 8:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Duke will head into Tuesday's match on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Sweetwater on Tuesday. Duke was the clear victor by a 73-48 margin over Sweetwater. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hammon entered their tilt with Canute on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 72-63 victory over the Trojans.

Duke has also been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.1 points. As for Hammon, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Duke beat Hammon 40-28 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Duke since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
