1. Kimberly
2014 finish: 20-8
Head coach: Ryan McGinnis

Kimberly fell just short of a state championship last year, falling to Sun Prairie in the championship game. However the Papermakers return three players who earned all-area honors last year, including junior infielder Ben Carew, utility Brice Swick and pitcher Griffin Hawley. Kimberly will miss two-time all-state selection Scott Schreiber, who earned all-area player of the year honors last year.

2. Sun Prairie
2014 finish: 27-5
Head coach: Rob Hamilton

Winners of three straight Division I state championships, Sun Prairie has averaged 27 wins a year for the past three seasons. The Cardinal return a pair of all-conference first team selections in infielder Michael Brekke and junior infielder Marcus Reuter. Second team all-conference pitcher Kanyon Fellers also returns along with honorable mention infielder Coby Oswalt.

3. Stevens Point
2014 finish: 26-3
Head coach: Kraig Terpstra

Stevens Point reached the quarterfinals of the Division I meet, falling to eventual state champion Sun Prairie. The Panthers had eight players earn some type of all-district honor, including player of the year honors for Cal Giese. Although he has graduated, outfielder Andrew Ruzek returns along with infielder Jake Slowinski.

4. Lake Country Lutheran (Hartland)
2014 finish: 32-0
Head coach: David Bahr

The Lightning finished the season with the nation's longest win streak at 32 games in a row while winning the Division 4 state championship. While all-state pitcher B.J. Sabol has graduated, Ben Wilkins, who went 10-0 last year, returns. Jacob Budnik (.400 batting average) is also back along with juniors Andrew Buran (.466) and Jake Hall (.444, 3 home runs).

5. Viroqua
2014 finish: 23-7
Head coach: Pete Swanson

The Blackhawks reached the Division II state championship game last year before falling to Jefferson. Viroqua will miss state player of the year Mitch Stalsberg, who struck out 21 batters in a semifinal playoff win. A pair of all-conference players return, however, in Zack Trautsch and Ross Withington. All-District honorable mention pick Tyler Bentz also returns.
