After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aledo, Brewer was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Chisholm Trail Rangers 16-1. Considering the Bears have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Khloe Winn looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Brewer got a massive performance out of Samantha Aguirre, who fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-2. Meanwhile, Chisholm Trail (ranked 561st) will meet Aledo (ranked 16th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
