            Football Recap: North Lincoln Knights vs. Hickory Red Tornadoes        
        
		
        
        
            North Lincoln extended their losing streak  to five  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were  outmatched by the Hickory Red Tornadoes and fell  49-6. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  42-0.
As for Hickory, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1. The result was nothing new for the Red Tornadoes, who have now won five contests by 28  points or more  so far this season.
 Hickory's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Jaheem Jenkins, who rushed for 120 yards and two  scores on only seven carries. Jenkins is  on a roll when it comes to  rushing touchdowns, as he's  now  punched in two or more in each of the last nine games he's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maddox McRee, who rushed for 34 yards and one  TD.
 Coming up, North Lincoln will square off against Newton-Conover at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Red Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.2  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hickory, they will challenge Maiden at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 14.8  points per game  this season, so the Red Tornadoes' offense will have their work cut out for them.
