Soccer Recap: Deer Park vs. Mariemont
After flying high against Reading last Tuesday, Deer Park came back down to earth. The Deer Park Wildcats came up short against the Mariemont Warriors on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The Wildcats were red-hot offensively headed into the contest (they scored no less than four goals in the three games prior) but the Warriors' defense proved too tough.
The loss snapped Deer Park's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-4-1 record. As for Mariemont, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-2-1.
Deer Park will be playing at home against Madeira at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mariemont, they and Dayton Christian are set to duel on Saturday.
