Soccer Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Takes a Loss

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest was the 2-2 winner over Rowe when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas came up short against the Rowe Warriors on Friday, falling 7-1. While losing is never fun, the Javelinas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 338th, while the Warriors are ranked 113th).

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Rowe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

While Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
