Walkersville extended the longest winning streak in Monocacy Valley - Piedmont this week by beating Linganore, 48-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Walkersville took down the Lancers 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Frederick's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cadets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Hynes has thrown for 1391 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Alex Levine has 33 catches for 538 yards. Jerel English leads the league in rushing with 746 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Urbana takes on Frederick. At the moment, the Hawks are in fourth, while the Cadets are in third.
The Lions led Monocacy Valley - Piedmont in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Linganore.
