Volleyball Recap: Mountain Ridge Extends Winning Streak to Four

Mountain Ridge had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Spanish Fork Dons. The Sentinels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dons, too.

Clark Fowler paced Mountain Ridge's offense, picking up eight kills. Fowler were helped by Curtis Fowler and Nesta Vaitai, who contributed nine assists each. Clark was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Mountain Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Spanish Fork, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Mountain Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Bingham on the 8th. As for Spanish Fork, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Alta on the 8th.
