Baseball Recap: Bernards Comes Up Short

Bernards was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-3 to the Johnson Crusaders.

Bernards' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Johnson, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bernards will head out to face off against Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnson, they will face off against Montclair at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mounties will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
