For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Grantsville and Tooele have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Cowboys put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cowboys, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Grantsville never let Tooele on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-11, 25-12.

AlyBree Rogers paced Grantsville's offense, picking up ten kills. Rogers got some help from Olivia Richardson and her 23 assists. Emmy Butler controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Despite the loss, Tooele still got an impressive performance from Kylee Carter, who had 25 digs and two assists.

Grantsville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tooele, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Grantsville will take on Richfield in a tournament on Friday. As for Tooele, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against West Jordan on the 21st.
