Basketball Recap: Yosemite Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Yosemite needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Fallon Vaughn. The Yosemite Badgers blew past the Parlier Panthers 52-31 on Friday thanks in part to Vaughn, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Yosemite's points.

Lucas McGoldrick was another key player, dropping a triple-double on 11 points, 15 rebounds, and ten assists. Those ten assists gave him a new career-high.

Yosemite's win ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-17. As for Parlier, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Yosemite will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Riverdale at 5:45 p.m. Yosemite is facing Riverdale at the right time seeing as Riverdale is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Parlier, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fowler at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fowler knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Parlier likes a good challenge.
