Basketball Game Preview: Animo City of Champions Wildcats vs. Price Knights

The Animo City of Champions Wildcats will head out to challenge the Price Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Animo City of Champions lost 69-43 to Compton Early College on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Price was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 60-54 to George Washington Prep.

Animo City of Champions will need focus on slowing down Tyrell Miller, one of several Price players who made an impact when they last played. He posted eight points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamari Stewart-Crowley, who scored 14 points.

Animo City of Champions' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Price, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.
