Baseball Recap: Bentley Comes Up Short

The Bentley Phoenix came up short against the Kennedy Eagles on Friday, falling 16-6. That's two games in a row now that the Phoenix have lost by exactly ten runs.

Max Grossman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Miles Makie was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Bentley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Kennedy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Bentley will challenge Cornerstone Christian on Friday. The game will give the Phoenix their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Kennedy, they will square off against Making Waves Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
