Football Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the West Tallahatchie Choctaws 54-14. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-8.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Tallahatchie, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Ashland will square off against Walnut at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Tallahatchie, they will face off against North Panola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Choctaws will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
