4-star receiver A.J. Brown selects Ole Miss on National Signing Day

Nation's No. 38 player is no longer uncommitted as he signs with the Rebels on National Signing Day.

A.J. Brown, a 4-star receiver from Starkville (Miss.), has made his college selection, and he's headed to Ole Miss.

Ranked as the No. 38 overall player in the country in the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings, Brown is the No. 5 receiver in the nation and the No. 3 player in Mississippi.

Brown had 11 offers and made four visits, including ones to Alabama on Jan. 15 and Cal on Jan. 22.

He helped lead Starkville to a 14-1 record and a Mississippi Class 6A state championship. He caught 83 passes for 1,371 yards and 13 touchdowns. In his three-year varsity career, Brown caught 153 passes for 2,883 yards and 35 scores.
