New Haven and Clintondale are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in New Haven's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Clintondale has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

New Haven was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Center Line on Tuesday. The Rockets were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Panthers. Considering the Rockets have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

New Haven let Will Bosco and Kaden Gilbert run wild. Bosco went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run, while Gilbert went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Bosco has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Lamar Pearson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Center Line hit Clintondale with a nine-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Dragons came up short against the Panthers, falling 13-2.

New Haven has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Clintondale, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

New Haven took their win against Clintondale in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 19-3 score. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
