Soccer Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly ten goals.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Academy for Classical Education, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Coming up, Northeast will head out to square off against Jefferson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northeast has given up an average of 9.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Laurens at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Laurens will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Academy for Classical Education surely won't give up without a fight.
