Reading Memorial (Reading, Mass.) extended its winning streak to 12 games with a 27-7 victory over
Mansfield (Mass.) on Saturday.
The Rockets were up 14-7 at the half after taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.
Reading Memorial expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. RM scored two times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.
Brendan Hill played well for the Hornets. The sophomore wide receiver caught one touchdown.
Mansfield's lone touchdown came on a 10-yard pass from
Kyle Wisnieski to Hill in the first quarter.
The Reading school came into the game allowing 4.7 points per game.
