Basketball Recap: Tri-County Piles Up the Points Against Union Star

Tri-County was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Union Star on Wednesday. The Tri-County Mustangs claimed a resounding 56-11 victory over the Union Star Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tri-County's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Union Star, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Tri-County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-42 victory against Pattonsburg on the 31st. Union Star has also already played their next game (against Northeast Nodaway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
