Recap: McKinley Red Dragons vs. East
The McKinley Red Dragons lost against East back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. McKinley took a hard 49-30 fall against the. McKinley has struggled against the recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, McKinley saw an underclassman step up: Kherington Stanford scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Ava Ferri was another key contributor, scoring six points.
McKinley has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for East, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Struthers is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for East, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Spartans at 6:15 p.m. Boardman will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
