Basketball Game Preview: McNary Celtics vs. West Salem Titans + How To Watch

McNary is 1-9 against West Salem since January of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Celtics will be playing at home against the Titans at 6:15 p.m. McNary will be strutting in after a win while West Salem will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, McNary turned things around against McKay on Tuesday. They took down the Royal Scots 53-35. Given the Celtics' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Royal Scots are ranked 240th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West Salem suffered their biggest loss since December 29, 2025 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Southridge 74-46. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Skyhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

McNary's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for West Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

McNary took a serious blow against West Salem in their previous meeting on February 3rd, falling 75-45. Can the Celtics avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
