Softball Recap: St. Francis DeSales Takes a Loss

St. Francis DeSales lost against Bishop Hartley back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Stallions lost 11-1 to the Hawks. The game marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

St. Francis DeSales' loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bishop Hartley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis DeSales will host Westland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Bishop Hartley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Watterson at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
